Transcribe the following
three sections in to Grade 2 braille
Time allowed: 1 hour
1. No matter how careful
and well organised you are, moving house is always a traumatic experience.
It is best to have it done by a removal firm if you can afford it.
Try to get at least three written estimates from different firms.
It doesn't usually pay to take very cheap estimates, you should
take into account the speed and efficiency with which they do business.
You can save money by packing breakable items (such as crockery)
yourself, but make sure you check the terms of the firm's insurance
policy first.
There are many other
arrangements you must make. Gas, electricity, telephone and water
authorities should be informed about a week in advance so that services
can be turner on in your new home and off in your old one.
Make sure that all meters
are read before you leave the property. If you are taking items
like cookers or gas fires, these should be disconnected by experts.
Stop deliveries of milk, papers and other regular goods and arrange
to have deliveries started in your new house.
Tell the Post Office
about your new address and have you mail forwarded for a year. Remember
that your driving licence and vehicle registration documents will
have to be changed.
